STARLIGHT Terms of Use

Welcome to Starlight! Starlight is a fan-made sandbox platform where users can create, share, and experience interactive content.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you”) and Starlight (“Starlight”, “we”, or “us”).

By using Starlight, you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Starlight is an independent project and is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation.

1. Acceptance of Terms
   1. Legal Agreement. By accessing or using Starlight, including all websites, services, applications, and content (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
   2. Changes to Terms. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
2. Eligibility
   1. Age Requirement. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
   2. Compliance. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service.
3. Accounts
   1. Account Responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities that occur under it.
   2. Restrictions. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.
   3. Termination. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time, with or without notice.
4. Service
   1. Use. Starlight allows users to create, upload, and interact with content (“User Content”), including games, assets, avatars, and other materials.
      1. Create. You may create and upload content to the Service.
      2. Interact. You may play and interact with content created by others.
      3. Socialize. You may communicate and interact with other users.
   2. Changes to Service. We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice and without liability.
5. User Content
   1. Ownership. You retain ownership of any content you create and upload.
   2. License. By uploading content, you grant Starlight a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.
   3. Responsibility. You are solely responsible for your content and agree that it does not:
      1. Violate any laws
      2. Infringe intellectual property rights
      3. Contain harmful or malicious code
   4. Removal. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion, with or without notice.
6. Prohibited Conduct
   1. You agree not to:
      1. Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities
      2. Attempt to hack or disrupt the Service
      3. Reverse engineer any part of the Service
      4. Harass, abuse, or harm other users
      5. Upload malicious code
      6. Impersonate others
7. Virtual Currency (StarPoints)
   1. No Real Value. StarPoints have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for real currency.
   2. Modification. We may modify, reset, or remove StarPoints at any time without notice.
   3. No Refunds. All transactions are final, except where required by law.
8. Intellectual Property
   1. Starlight is an independent project and is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation.
   2. All third-party trademarks and content belong to their respective owners.
   3. Users may not upload copyrighted material without permission.
9. Termination
   1. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
    1. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
11. Limitation of Liability
    1. Starlight and its operators shall not be liable for any damages, including loss of data, accounts, or virtual items.
12. Indemnification
    1. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Starlight and its operators from any claims arising from your use of the Service or your content.
